2026 Parfet Park Easter Egg Hunt

A Joyful Morning at Parfet Park: Golden Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt 2026 Recap

Parfet Park was glowing with spring sunshine and community spirit on Saturday morning as families gathered for one of Golden’s most beloved traditions — the annual Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt. While attendance was a bit lighter this year, the warmth, gratitude, and good cheer from the crowd were unmistakably stronger than ever.

Thanks to an enthusiastic crew of volunteers — including young adults from Golden High School’s Circle K, and a terrific group of Mines CKI members and other student volunteers — the park was buzzing with helping hands long before the first egg was found. Their energy set the tone for a smooth, joyful morning.

As always, the kids wasted no time. The moment the signal sounded, the field erupted into a colorful blur of tiny sneakers, pastel baskets, and determined treasure hunters. In true Parfet Park fashion, the eggs disappeared in about five minutes flat, leaving behind a sea of delighted faces, proud parents, and baskets brimming with candy.

The morning was full of small, heart‑warming moments — the kind that make this tradition feel timeless. One grandparent shared that they’ve been bringing their family to the Parfet Park hunt for more than twenty years, calling it “our favorite five‑minute tradition.” It’s a reminder that what matters most isn’t the number of eggs gathered, but the joy, connection, and sense of community that fills the park year after year.

Kiwanis Club of Golden extends heartfelt thanks to every volunteer, every family who joined us, and every child who brought their own sparkle to the morning. Whether you found one egg or twenty, you helped make this year’s hunt a bright and memorable celebration of spring.

We’re already looking forward to next year — and to the stories, smiles, and traditions still to come!
